We are proud to bring you the initial offering on our newest sire The Specialist with all the proceeds going to a worthy cause in the Humberto Vela Memorial Scholarship Fund. This bull has been a standout from the get-go and continued to impress us as he developed into a breeding age bull. In fact, RGV Cattle Company used him on all their show heifers which included Cecilia Guerra’s 2023 Reserve Champion Simbrah Heifer at the American Junior Simbrah Roundup - RGV LMC Hope 2.0. We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of her calf by The Specialist.
The Specialist is a smoothly made, sound and stout individual with a striking profile. We like the job he does of balancing style and power in a desirable frame score. He is sired by LMC BBS Skywalker, who is a son of the 2012 National Champion Percentage Simbrah Bull LN LMC 12th Man out of the 2009 San Antonio Junior Show Grand Champion Female BBS Jennie Walker. This makes him a full sister to LMC BBS Jennie Love, the 2020 Reserve National Champion Female of Carlos Guerra III’s and La Hacienda Hinojosa’s many times champion LMC BBS Jazmine cow that won the Cow/Calf Pair Show at the 2021 TJSSA Futurity for Emily Denny.
On the dam side, The Specialist’s donor dam is a real gem and a red full sister to the popular RGV LMC Dr. Beauty donor. RGV Painted Beauty is sired by the 2009 Reserve National Champion LMC ATZ Dr. Feel Good bull and out of the capacious ZZ Crimson Beauty cow who neared perfection in the flesh. Painted Beauty was a champion herself, as was The Specialist’s maternal brother RGV LMC Mr. Worldwide. We believe this new sire will be a main stay in the breed for years to come due to his striking profile, natural muscling, and soundness. He currently sits in the Top 25% for eight EPD traits including Milk, Average Daily Gain and Ribeye Area.
