Lot 9 - Miss V8 55/7

A young Superstroke daughter out of the Vanguard cow  $Miss V8 910/4. While this cow looks thin in the picture, she has done a phenomenal job raising this high performing heifer calf at side born 3/12/12, sired by Mr. V8 203/6. This female is a full sister to the 2005 International Champion Female, +Miss V8 228/6.  228 is one of our top donors on the ranch who most recently produced the 2012 International Champion Female and 2011 Reserve International Champion Female for Adrian Land, Miss V8 137/7. You’ll notice the $ sign in front of 910’s name. This is the symbol for the Vanguard award, meaning a cow that is both Register of Renown and Maternal Merit. In the entire ABBA, there are only 13 Vanguard cows. This award is quite possibly the highest award a female can earn in the ABBA. Here is your opportunity to own a direct daughter of this legendary cow.  Very few people in the breed can showcase the $ symbol on the pedigrees of cattle in their herd.  

Another attraction on this lot is that she sells safe in calf to JDH Cannon Manso 69/4 for an early spring 2013 calf. Cannon is our new young herd sire that we purchased last year. He is an extremely deep bodied Josiah Manso son that we are expecting great things from.  We bred all our 2 year heifers to Cannon and are anticipating good results.
