Polled Troubador is a super flat backed, flat hipped, dark pigmented, very correct, double smooth polled herd bull prospect. His paternal grand sire, Mr. V8 212/3 is the ONLY POLLED bull in the Register of Renown. We bought Troubador's sire with Mike England and Sam Sparks from the Smith Family in Louisiana and named him after what Jeff Smith's buddies called him, Boss or "Patron" in Spanish. 6 of Troubador’s 8 grandparents are either JDH or V8 cattle with the other two being the polled Sugarland's Esto 225 and our 707 cow that will both be in the history books as having had a major impact on the better breeding polled cattle.
His dam is a young Ambassador cow that was a champion for our partner Beth Quintanilla. This cow is out of a full sib to Ricky Butler's LMC Polled Maestro bull. The next cow is 707 who is the MATRIARCH of our polled program and was a great one. We sold a full sister to Troubador's dam to Kansas Polled Brahmans for $10,000 to top the MAS VII Sale. This bull comes from a great cow family that has been very productive for us.
Whether you are looking for a herd bull to breed POLLED Brahmans, F-1's, club calves or just some soggy good looking replacement females, this bull will be a sound investment. He has a gentle disposition, is halter broke and is going to get better every day for a while after you buy him, as he is just nine months old now. We like what he offers and are reserving the right to collect up to 300 units of semen for our own in herd use only. Semen will collected at our expense and buyer's convenience. Selling 100%.
