Mr. Dubina Rose 253/8 is a 18 month old embryo transfer bull that combines phenotype, pedigree and performance. We have participated in this program since it’s inception and although we have done well in the test and more importantly in the sale 253/8 is our most consistent performer. The data doesn’t lie and he might not have topped any trait but he was consistent in ALL categories which helped propel him to a top 10 finish and a spot in this sale. He was one of the lower birth weight bulls on the test with a -0.6 BW EPD and an actual weight of 71 lbs. which makes him suitable to be used on English cows. While he meets the important BW requirement his genetic predictors validate his actual performance of being high growth and in the top of the breed for the important carcass traits of REA and Marbling. While this is a performance test and these measurements are important any discriminating breeder will require a breed leading pedigree of which 253/8 offers with straight J.D. Hudgins influence. He is sired by JDH Sir Forrest Manso who is known as a performance leader and who’s semen is only available on a rare occasion. To further compliment this superior sire side the dam to 253/8 is a donor cow that averaged over 7 embryos on 3 conventional flushes and always produced some of our best calves. JDH Ursula Manso is a daughter of the Maternal Performance Sire and Reserve Champion at BOTH the International and World Brahman Congress Shows and out of a daughter of the Vanguard Sire (+)JDH Datapack Manso. As you can tell from his picture and video 253/8 is a moderate framed, beefy, deep ribbed, and well-built bull. No matter your objective we think that Mr. Dubina Rose 253/8 is the kind of sire that can impact any program!
