There is no doubt that this female is an ideal junior show prospect. Miss WCC Jenifer is a favorite at the ranch because of her ideal disposition and her ability to constantly strike that beautiful pose. We love this June baby for her extraordinary length of side, levelness of hip and overall attractive design.
Her dam, Miss CBR 484/0 (bred by our good friend’s at Collins Brahman Ranch) is one of our most unique young females at the ranch and arguably has one of the most desirable pedigrees. We began acquiring Trish Collins and family’s “CBR” genetics in the early 2000’s and they have proven to be a pinnacle in our breeding program. The 484/0 female has a great blend of both V8 and JDH genetics. Prospective buyer should note the Mr. V8 312/5 bull in “Jenifer’s” pedigree. This +Mr. V8 900/4 son produced numerous great ones for Collins Brahman Ranch, one of which is an elite donor for Watkins Cattle Company.
Miss WCC Jenifer is sired by a producer of champions, JDH Sir Jerome Manso 224/4. Jerome’s pedigree includes breed greats like +JDH Liberty, =JDH Sarasota, +JDH Remington and =JDH 204 YL. The JDH Jerome sired offspring have done well on the US show circuit for the past 5 years and this genetic outcross has proven to be a great combination. We admire Jerome for his moderation of size, square hip, balance and overall capacity. Each of these desirable characteristics and traits can be found in Miss WCC Jenifer.
Miss WCC Jenifer is ideal for a first time junior showman for many reasons. Her docile and completely care free disposition is perfect for a young person just starting. Additionally, a powerful pedigree and her flawless design will make her a beneficial asset to anyone’s herd. ***Note: Watkins Cattle Company is willing to keep Miss WCC Jenifer on her mother (at our expense) until November 1, 2014. She’s just a baby and we do not recommend weaning before 5 months. Miss WCC Jenifer has been started on a show ration and daily show regiment.
