LMC Polled Maestro was a very thick, dark pigmented good looking smooth polled Brahman Herd Bull that we sold 1/2 interest to Ricky Butler. He worked very well for Ricky producing him a Champion son and several really clean made, feminine, thick and pretty daughters. I helped him sell a fancy group of five baby doll daughters to Sam Sparks one of which you can see below.
We have three full sisters to him that are doing us, Mike Quintanilla and Westfall Family Farms an excellent job. Another full brother has done our ole buddy Curtis Gruetzmacher a really good job also. A maternal brother is our LMC WFF Pistolero bull who has produced lots of good sons and daughters for our program. We were fortunate to have their dam serve as our Polled MATRIARCH. She was the 707 cow that will be in the Brahman history book someday.
We used Polled Maestro one season prior to selling 1/2 interest and produced two outstanding bulls that Justin Hall is building his polled herd around. Those bulls are LMC Polled Legacy and LMC Polled Rico. He has created a great market for their progeny via his passion for the cattle and social media. CONGRATS Justin !!
The Polled Maestro daughters have great udders just like their paternal grand dam, the great 707 cow did. 100% of the proceeds will go to the La Muneca & Friends ANIMO Award that will be awarded every year at the AJBA All American Banquet to a unique AJBA member of any age that possesses what ANIMO stands for - spirit, commitment, desire, energy, passion, leadership and volunteerism. It will be a $1,000 award with the recipient being selected by the ABBA Youth Activities Committee Chairman, ABBA President, All American Coordinator, ABBA Executive Vice President and a Guerra Family Member. The funds will be managed by the AJBA.
