Victor saw the BBS Jennie Walker heifer back in 2008 and went on point. He was persistent throughout the next year for LMC to acquire this female and we eventually struck a deal with our long time friends and customers at Boening Bros. In 2009, the Dream Girl heifer was coming off a big win at the National Show in Ft. Worth and we felt confident she would be tough to beat in San Antonio. The Jennie Walker donor went on to beat Dream Girl that day as a pair under well known judge Kevin Jensen who appreciates a great cow with a solid udder. As soon as we could flush the Jennie Walker cow we got after it and the rest is history. In the last six months she has generated over $40,000 in revenue for us and has produced numerous champions. Most importantly, we feel she has made the breed better.
Fondeaux's sire 6GLMC Pappadeaux was also an individual we liked from the get go. Victor teamed up with Newt Huffman from La Reina and bought him as a calf for $5,250 at the LMC $ellabration Sale. They went on to sell an interest to Louie Flores and LMC. The Pappadeaux bull is a 6G/LMC Rajin Cajun son out of a full sister to LM Full House and LMC Gig’Em. Pappadeaux carries the famous CNS Dream on and LM Rob’s Muneca 3E/89 influences in his pedigree. This herd sire prospect is not only royally bred, but he is a solid red, super clean sheathed and long bodied bull with lots of potential. Fondeaux is a full brother to LMC BBS Amos, LMC BBS Andrea and LMC BBS Alexis who all sold well in the LMC GenePLUS III sale with Andrea and Alexis topping the sale at $9,000 for 1/3rd and $7,300 selling to La Reina Ranch and Kaitlynn Miller.
