J7N Excellencia, the dam to this heifer, is simply a cowman’s dream. She possesses the explosive rib shape and stoutness we all look for, but yet is free-moving and all in a moderate package. LMC Rocco, in our opinion, is one of the most consistent producers of quality calves in the Simbrah breed so we decided to cross these two. We were excited about this mating from the onset and our assumption was correct. In this offering, this IVF embryo heifer has great muscle shape and rib shape just like her dam and it too will be an excellent breeding piece for any purebred operation.
Excellencia’s dam is the foundation donor cow of La Morra Ranch, LMC Knockout Muneca 5M/9 (we call her M9) and out of BCC Boomerang. Excellencia was a class winner in the 2010 Superbowl and was Senior Champion Heifer in 2011 in the Rio Grande Valley Stockshow. M9’s other offsprings have also done well in the show ring. J7N VicMar 420, a BCC Majestic son, was the 2010 National Champion Bull and J7N Whiskey River, a LMC JW Black son, was the 2010 Reserve National Champion Bull. But most notably, M9 is also the dam of LMC Oprah which makes her the great grand-dam of LMC Dream Girl and we all know how well she has done both in the show ring and in the sale ring. In addition, Rocco semen is not available anymore so take advantage of adding his genetics into your program.
