Every time we host a sale there’s always one that kind of makes you shake your head and grin. Well you can crown him because this year’s head shake goes to Duke. Whenever you step in the bull pen and look at these bulls you can always spot Duke right off the bat, and that’s one of the things we love about him. Duke is a very thick bull with great bone, depth, muscle expression, correct feet and legs, and length throughout his body. He is a docile bull with a great personality, and will always greet you at the gate or feed trough first. Duke’s sire, Mighty Mouse, is one of the hottest young bulls in the breed today. His dam, Miss SNS Brinley 938/7, is one of our bright young donors that Dr. Satterfield quickly claimed as his favorite. She goes back to JDH 579 and Superstroke on top, and out of the matriarch herself, +Miss SNS 462/8. This makes Duke a full brother to the oldest bull on our show string, Mr SNS Boone 400/9. Also, Duke will be a great choice to breed heifers to since his actual birth weight is 74 pounds. This young herd sire has the potential to make an immediate impact on your program and become the bull you talk about at the dinner table for the next for 20-30 years.
