LOT 7 Mr. DRC 324/6
Mr. DRC 324/6 is our first nomination to the ABBA Bull Test and this sale. Our first experience has been amazing and we learned a lot about how our cattle perform. 324 ranks #7 overall due to his consistency across all traits. To start, he was #5 for ADG gaining 3.07 lbs./day, scanned a 1.20 sq. in. REA/100 lbs., and had an IMF of 3.55%. When you view his performance profile it validates his actual performance perfectly as he ranks in the top 20% of the breed for growth and REA. We realize that this is a bull test and most of you will base your selections on the data as you should. However, 324/6 offers a breed leading pedigree being sired by a son of the National Champion and globally utilized +JDH Elmo Manso. His dam was our pick of the J.D. Hudgins-J. Forgason Division Sale heifers and has been a great cow calving at 35 months of age and each year after. When you view the body composition of 324/6 you can see the influence of Elmo with his rugged build, plenty of volume, thickness and bone.
