The sire to 3/20 is Mr. V8 243/7 who was selected as the Grand Champion at the San Antonio Livestock Exposition as a calf. In his first calf crop he sired a National Champion Bull, Mr. V8 705/7. It should also be noted that 243/7 is a full brother to the International Champion Miss V8 844/7 who is now a proven donor for V8 Ranch, National Champion Miss V8 626/7 who is a leading donor for B.R. Cuter, Inc., Miss V8 629/7 the Houston Junior Show Reserve Champion as well as a number of other influential animals. The sire of Mr. V8 243/7 is +Mr. V8 380/6 who sired more show winners from 2011-2017 than any other sire which helped propel him to the #2 Register of Renown position. The dam to 243/7 is the famous +JDH Ms. Water Manso who is a daughter of the legendary Vanguard Sire (+)JDH Sir Liberty Manso and who has produced 52 offspring with 13 of them being donors and 3 major herd sires.
The dam to Miss CE 3/20 is JDH Lady Lou Manso 592/4 a top producing daughter of the National Champion and globally influential sire +JDH Mr. Elmo Manso. We purchased Lady Lou from Moreno Ranches who used her successfully and retained 2 daughters in addition to other offspring being shown successfully and topping some of their sales. Lady Lou was selected due to her fertility calving first at 26 months, her proven progeny, her breed leading pedigree, and her performance that is confirmed by her charting positive for 11 traits. Since owning Lady Lou she has averaged 10-12 embryos per aspiration. We couldn’t be more pleased with the production of this donor and expect continued success with her.
As a result of such an outstanding pedigree and actual performance Miss CE 3/20 has a slight performance profile advantage charting in the top 7% of the breed for Growth (WW,YW), a moderate ranking of the top 55% for milk, and ranks in the top 3% of the breed for REA and 21% for Marbling.
