One of the most exciting herd bulls we have ever had the pleasure to be a part of who was bred by one of our former LMC Juniors Jacob Atzenhoffer through our free semen benefit. Jacob bred his LMC-RFI-Smith Red Bullet daughter to the legendary LMC EF JW Black and produced Dr. Feel Good. We fondly remember our phones ringing from Houston when Feel Good hit the scene as a calf. That next month we partnered up with the Atzenhoffer’s and the rest is history as they say as we have had an enjoyable and successful partnership ever since.
The semen inventory on the 2009 Calf Champion and Reserve National Champion Bull in Fort Worth is getting low here at LMC thus the time is right to get in on this unique sire. He was one of the stoutest ended bulls we have ever seen that still retained loads of style and he has a knack for passing the same onto his progeny. This high performing sire is currently in the Top 2% for Carcass Weight, Top 3% for Ribeye and Maternal Weaning Weight and is also in the Top 4% for Yearling and Average Daily Gain. Finally, he is in the Top 10% for Weaning and Top 15% for Milk.
Dr. Feel Good sired the 2011 National Champion LMC Arcadio bull, Victoria Villanueva’s many times champion LMC LN Blackberry, Triple C/Chappell’s popular RGV LMC Dr. Beauty donor, the productive LMC Miss America cow and so many other great cattle leaving their mark on the breed. What a pedigree to go with that impressive resume as well as having JW Black up top and the timeless LM She Moves on the bottom.
