Grade 9 - HOGS - My name is Zana Pruitt. I am a freshman at Bremond High School. I have been showing pigs at county and majors for 7 years. This year I raised a gilt to show at the Robertson County Fair. Her name was Little. It fit her perfectly because when we got her she was so tiny and was the cutest little thing ever. This year showing has taught me that things don't always go as planned but the show will eventually go on! I've had to adjust to a busier schedule than I was used too since I am in high school and playing sports. My siblings and I tend to the pigs daily. We feed walk brush and spray them down every day. They are washed every other day. We clean pens and put in new shavings every week sometimes sooner. I really enjoy being involved in the show world!
