Daughter of +Mr. V8 380/6 and out of the dam to JDH Lady Babette Manso 486/4!!!!
By now we hope that you realize the work, expense, and effort that has gone into creating these superior cattle. We have been in the Brahman & F-1 business for over 20 years and have realized that to make progress you must breed the best to the best and that is what we have strived to do.
After we purchased the semen package (4 straws that are now depleted) on +Mr. V8 380/6 we went out in search of the best cows to purchase aspirations on to cross him with. At the time one of the most proven cows in the breed was +JDH Lady Murile Manso 117/4.
We liked Murile due to her proven production of JDH Lady Babette Manso 486/4 who was the 2013 National Champion, 2014 International Champion, and ABBA Show Cow of the Year. Not only did Murile produce Babette but also two other outstanding daughters that made donors. Due to the proven production of Murile she was recognized with a National and International Produce of Dam title. We appreciated the proven production of show animals by Murile but more importantly liked her performance-oriented pedigree with her dam having been awarded Maternal Merit status. Due to the success of the initial calves that resulted from this mating we purchased a second aspiration that created this heifer and 3 more that were sold in the sale last year averaging $10,066.66.
Ms. Bonchasse 553/0 is an outstanding female that is very complete in her body design. She obviously comes from a popular and proven pedigree that combines one of the legendary sires in the breed with a Register of Renown and proven dam of a National and International Champion. It should also be noted that 553/0 is backed by one of the most progressive performance profiles in the sale that charts in the top 40% for all of the traditional measured traits to include BW, WW, YW, and Milk in addition to ranking in the top 15% for Ribeye Area and 1% for Marbling.
There are a lot of great females in this sale but 553/0 will be one of the favorites due to her TOTALITY of combining pedigree, performance, and phenotype!
We do want to disclose that at some point around mid-August 553/0 bruised her shoulder and there is still a small golf ball size bump on the point of her shoulder. She appears to be completely healed with no complications but due to this being an internet sale we wanted to make potential buyers aware.
