JDH Lady Ghena Manso 55/8 is a 13-month-old heifer that is balanced in her build being long, level, and ultra-feminine. The sire to Ghena is JDH Sir Isaac Manso 774/6 who is one of our most widely used sires due to him covering large numbers of cows naturally, the consistent quality of his offspring, and as a result, sires a large percent of our replacement females. Isaac is sired by our JDH Mr Elmo son, 307/6 and out of a Maternal Merit cow. To further add to the production and maternal traits of Ghena her dam calved first at 25 months and combines two of the most influential dams of J.D. Hudgins – J. Forgason Division. To confirm the expected production and maternal influence Ghena ranks in the top 17% of the breed for WW, YW, and Milk.
Lady Ghena carries many of the great herd sires as you search back into her pedigree including: JDH Charley’s Jazz 946/1, JDH Mr Elmo Manso 309/4, JDH Mr Manso 449/1, JDH Madison Manso 737/4 and JDH Mr Manso 209/9.
The J. Forgason Division of J.D. Hudgins has long been known to focus on the essential traits of fertility, maternal, and production. We think that JDH Lady Ghena 55/8 is an example of the cattle that we strive to raise!
