Our good friend, Louie Flores and I own Estrella’s dam and we are so excited to offer Estrella (Star) to you in this offering. J7N LF Estrella is one of those calves that you know is gonna be good as soon as it is born. This heifer has got power to galore. Heavy muscled, stout, big top and sound on her feet are a few adjectives that come to mind. But the golden ticket on Estrella is that she will be an awesome cow after her show career is over. Estrella’s dam, J7N Yamini is a VicMar 420 daughter out of one of our premier donors, J7N What-A-Lady. In fact, Yamini was Lady’s first calf which went on to become Calf Champion at the RGV Livestock Show with Arianna Cantu. Yamini is a stoutly made, big footed cow that is a pleasure to watch on in the pasture.
Estrella’s sire is J7N Blackjack, a ¾-simbrah bull out of our premiere donor, LMC Knockout Muneca 5M/9 and the high EPD indexing Simmental bull, CCR Cowboy Cut. If you’re looking for performance oriented calves, Estrella is in the top 10% in 8 EPD categories to include top 4% in WW, top 3% in YW, top 10% in ADG and top 5% in TI.
J7N LF Estrella is eligible to show at the Simbrah / Simmental Superbowl, LMC Celebration and all MAS events. Two units semen from any of La Morra Ranch’s bulls will be made available for use on this heifer
