Grade 8 - HOGS - Hi my name is Halee Lopez and I am showing my beautiful pig Anne. The countless hours I spent walking feeding and washing my pig were all worth it. I have practiced walking and showing her I bathed her and kept her skin shiny hoping that people would see the best in my pig. I feed Anne twice daily making sure that her feed amounts are accurate and I clean her pen each day. I also weigh my pig once a week but check her health constantly. Although the time spent with Anne was great the lesson I learned was even more valuable. I learned that the hard work showmanship and time I put into her this year was all worth my while. It showed me not to give up and that success is not from the end result but from the work you put in to get there.
