Grade 7 - HOGS - Hello my name is Scarlette Grace. This year I was blessed with the opportunity to raise a market hog Avery. She is a cross gilt that has so much personality and charisma. From this experience I have learned so much from raising my animal. One of these being that you have to pull through everything with them to succeed. While the fair was approaching I fed twice a day and walked with her as much as I could to make sure the pig was fair ready. I also hoped that with everything going on myself and all the other exhibitors would get the experience of our county fair this year. Although the outcome was not what we expected we will make the best of our experience and work hard to be ready for next year. Thanks to all for their support and hard work during this time.
