Santa Elena Ranch is proud to be offering the ONLY RED Brahman bull in the sale!  His color is not the only thing that makes him unique as he combines an outstanding phenotype, proven pedigree, and breed leading performance which all helped him rank #5 Overall in the test.  VL Rojo Designer 21/9 is an impressive bull and certainly has the quality build to be used in a registered Brahman program.  Not only is he built right being sound structured, deep ribbed, heavy muscled, and eye appealing but the three-judge panel appreciated his phenotypic qualities and placed him as the #4 phenotypically superior bull in the sale.  We realize that a lot of people will select 21/9 based on his impressive phenotype but this is a performance tested bull sale and 21/9 hits the mark ranking in the top 1/3 of the breed for BW, WW, YW, and 1% for Milk.  To further add value to this herd sire is his pedigree that combines some of the most popular and widely used genetics in the world to include the former champion and now proven sire VL Rojo Designer 2/70, the former trait leader VL Rojo Grande 4/95, and one of the top female sires +VL Rojo Tinto 3/180.  We sent our best to the test and as expected 21/9 excelled and will be a great addition to any herd!
