Mr H Hosea Manso 175/8 is one that I totally envisioned us keeping. He has been a great looking calf since birth, always proud, always the first one in the creep feeder and for some reason, always clean. I can remember checking the weaned bulls one day after a big rain and there wasn’t a dry place in the pens, the majority of the bulls were covered in mud head to toe, but not Hosea 175/8. He looked like he just showered and shaved, almost like he was just a little better than the others. I tell you that silly story to say this, if you want to take a really good looking bull from Hungerford, focus your attention on this particular lot. Mr H Hosea Manso 175/8 is sired by JDH Mr Monroe Manso 416/8, the Prophet 424 x Elliot 461 son that is doing an incredible job for us. The dam of Hosea 175/8 is one of Erin’s former show heifers, Lady H Lana Manso 350/3, a daughter of +JDH Charley’s Jazz Manso 946/1, a past International Junior Champion female and co-owned with Forgason Cattle Company.
