Most recently, she’s gained a lot of attention by repetitive visitors to the ranch because she just keeps getting more powerful, something the +Mr. V8 901/4 progeny are known for.
Although never shown, “Rachel’s" dam has become our best flush cows. In one IVF procedure she produced 9 pregnancies for Watkins Cattle Company and we consigned our favorite from this IVF. The WCC 3/7 donor combines a unique blend of Gray Shadows (Florida Genetics) and older Double J genetics. The maternal grand dam is a family favorite and was a big winner for Stuart back in the early 2000’s. When mated with the +Mr. V8 901/4 bull the 3/7 donor produces progeny that are a complete outcross. The future owner can literally breed “Rachel” to almost any of today’s most popular genetics.
We think “Rachel” has the ability to be a great show heifer; just look at how balanced, smooth and free moving this female is in her video. When analyzing “Rachel” she’s long bodied, big topped and massive when viewed from behind but yet reminds extremely feminine about her neck and face.
“Rachel” has become a favorite at the showbarn for her docile disposition; this female is desperate for attention. With a little bit of work she will make an excellent showmanship heifer and she is started on a daily show regiment at Watkins Cattle Company.
