When we come to the Valley to make our selections you can always count on Louie Flores to open up the barn and let you pick what you want.  As a result, Louie’s cattle have sold well and garnered much success in the United States & Thailand.  This year we might have picked the best one yet!  The first thing that appealed to us about Miss 4F 158/1 was her “completeness” combining bone, rib shape, muscle, length, and femininity.  After her phenotypic superiority caught our eye Louie then told us that she was sired by the two-time Reserve International Champion CT Mr. Elmeaux Rhineaux and out of Miss 4F Polled Victoria 23/7 (P).  Most know that Elmeaux Rhineaux is one of the hottest sires in the breed with many recent champions being his progeny.  This superior siring ability should not be surprising as he is by the National Champion and breed influencer +JDH Mr. Elmo Manso and out of the #1 Register of Renown Cow +CT Lady Rhineaux Ray 8/9.  Miss 4F Polled Victoria 23/7 (P) is one of the most proven donors in the breed that results from her offspring winning shows and fetching the top prices when sold.  Victoria is best known as the dam to Miss 4F Polled Elegance 72/9 (P) who was the 2021 International Show Reserve Intermediate Champion as well as a set of calves that were recently sold averaging over $30,000/head.  The last thing that “seals the deal” on this female for us is that she charts POSITIVE for 13 of the 16 measured performance traits!  If you are looking for a heifer with polled genetics that will show, has the pedigree & performance to be a donor, and is halter broke then be the last one bidding on Thursday night at 7:00!
