Selling ½ interest and full possession. J.D. Hudgins - J. Forgason will receive one aspiration every other year starting in 2022.
JDH Lady Leanna Manso 17/8 was the pick of our Fall 2019 calf crop. As a result of her superiority she has been at the J.D. Hudgins Show Barn where she is now halter broke and has a gentle disposition.
Leanna is the result of a rare genetic combination that will likely never be repeated. She is sired by our popular and proven herd sire JDH Sir Raeburn Manso 781/6 who has been used heavily by our division due to his outstanding offspring and ability to get large numbers of cows bred naturally. Raeburn is a son of the Vanguard Sire (+)JDH Atlas Manso 328/3 and out of the dam to the popular show bull and now proven sire JDH Thor Manso 380/6. The dam to Leanna is JDH Lady Butterfly Manso 412/7 who is sired by our former show bull and now herd sire JDH Yeti Manso 872/6 and out of JDH Greta Manso 644/8 who was sold in the International Brahman Sale to JBJ Ranch and produced some outstanding offspring with both a son and daughter being previous sale highlights. Unfortunately, we lost Butterfly as the result of an accidental death after she left the show barn making Leanna her only offspring.
The J. Forgason Division of J.D. Hudgins has long been known for the maternal traits in our females. JDH Lady Leanna Manso 17/8 validates this as she ranks in the top 18% of the breed for Growth and Milk.
In these sales we offer our best and hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity!
Breeding Guarntee: If this female is shown, conventional flushed, IVF aspirated, or not properly cared for before having her first natural calf there will be NO breeding guarantee.
Note: JDH Lady Leanna Manso 17/8 lost the end of her switch. This should not cause any issues but we want to be transparent.
