BCC Lady Scarlet 195/2 obviously gets her name from her very dark pigment, even though she offers a full grey pedigree. The breeding opportunities for this female are endless – breed her red or grey, with a pedigree that would work incredibly well with the Noble sire line. Scarlet is out of the late Miss V8 400/7 who we unfortunately lost in the snow storm of 2021, but whose presence will still be prominent from the bank of embryos we have from her. 400/7 was an outstanding +Mr. V8 380/6 daughter out of the Miss V8 387/6 cow, who is a top producing daughter of the great +JDH Charley’s Jazz 946/1. On the top side, Scarlet is sired by the producer of champions, +Mr H Maddox Manso 684, who even at nearly 20 years of age is still relevant and producing competitive offspring. As you can see from her picture, Scarlet is a larger framed female who offers extreme length of body and a long level topline. Through her front 1/3, she’s a complete outlier, being long fronted, feminine about her head and neck, and tying that neck in very high at the point of her shoulder. Scarlet did take longer in the breaking pen than her contemporaries, so she is still very green – but once she catches up, she could turn into the buy of the sale. As a calf, she was a favorite of everyone that saw her. This is truly a female that will be a major contributor to the donor pen wherever she ends up!
Although halter broke, Scarlet is difficult to manage at times and very skittish in new situations, so for full transparency, she may never be comfortable at a show. Feel free to contact us for more information regarding her disposition.
Bentke Cattle Company retains the right to two (2) successful IVF procedures after the conclusion of the female’s show career at the buyer’s convenience and the seller’s expense.
