Speaking of her pedigree, she’s out of our fix everything herd sire, JDH Hammer Manso 406/8, who is truly fault free. His calves come small, grow fast, are vigorous at birth, and have outstanding dispositions. His daughters are extremely fertile and have perfect udders. His calves have also been winners, with a daughter being named Calf Champion and Grand Champion at the Okie Extravaganza for Walters Livestock. Outside of his production characteristics, Hammer gives his calves an outstanding lineage, being himself a son of (+)JDH Sir Lawford Manso and out of a (+)JDH Sir Liberty Manso daughter. Jade’s dam, Miss V8 786/8, was our pick of the V8 sale pens in 2018 because she was feminine, maternal and had a set of feet and legs that were built to last forever. 786/8’s sire is the famous +Mr. V8 279/7, a +JDH Elmo son, that has produced some of the best polled cattle in the world, and her dam goes back to (+)JDH Woodson De Manso.
