LMC Rob’s Muneca 5C/68 was a smooth made, blazed face cow that had a lot of eye appeal blended in with excellent breed character. She was yet another RAB Polled Redeye “Rob” that earned her way into the donor pen. On the bottom side she goes back to the LL&L Gold Rush bull that was another consistent producer for us. BETM, 6G & Victor have a full sister to these embryos at work in the herd and she has been a productive cow for them selling a heifer in our last sale and is currently nursing a bull calf now. Production is the name of the game for these Rob daughters and their progeny. 68 is in the Top 10% for the important Birth Weight and Calving Ease EPD’s and also in the Top 2% for milk as well.
These embryos are sired by Mr. Ishee Precision Red, a red Simmental bull whose specialty is producing productive brood cows. We have several Precision Red females in the herd that have done us a solid job due to their functional build. With that function we also got plenty of style out of Precision Red that allowed us to enjoy success in the sale ring as well. We purchased this sire from Ishee Bred Simmentals, an outfit that focuses on high performing cattle and with that said PR is in the Top 1% for Weaning and Yearling Weight EPD’s. These two combine for what should make some great cattle with the EPD’s to match in terms of Calving Ease and Performance.
