Grade 6 - HOGS - Hi I am Madelyn Colley. I am in the 6th grade at Franklin Middle School. This is my fourth year to enter a market hog for the RCFA. I love my hog Silly. Every morning I wake up early to help feed her. After school I wash feed and walk her. I also clean her pen. Silly loves to be brushed. On Sundays I help my dad weigh her so we can adjust her feed for the next week. My fair project has helped me learn life skills such as responsibility patience and consistency. I love spending time with my hogs and showing them. Although I was not able to show her at the fair this year I appreciate the opportunity to participate in this sale. I will put any money earned towards next year's project. Thank you for your consideration.
