Lot: 4 - SB Polled Elyse 10/1 (P) - Show Heifer

When nominations were being taken for this sale Billie Dee said, “I’m not selling anything until you pick what you want”.  We greatly appreciated his commitment to this sale and made our selections of two GREAT heifers.  The lead off lot for Simpson Brahmans is this POLLED and complete made heifer.  SB Polled Elyse 10/1 is a fancy heifer that is heavy structured, thick ended, deep ribbed, long, level, and feminine.  One of the things that we like about Elyse is the consistency of the mating that she results from as one of the heifers was retained to be shown by Simpson Brahmans while the other two were selected from a group to make this sale.  Elyse is sired by Bardia Ambassador who is an Australian bull that has the 2018 Beef Week Champion Female and the Sire of the Year titles to his credit.  You likely also correlate Bardia with siring ECC Polled Maverick who many think might be one of the top young sires in the breed.  The dam to Elyse is ECC KPBR Polled Billie Sue 630 (P) who was a former show cow that is huge bodied with a great udder.  Billie Sue is sired by England Cattle Company’s show winner and herd sire ECC El Caporal 301 and out of ECC Sherri K Crickett 302 one of their most influential cow families.  Don’t miss out on a female that can show competitively but also be a cornerstone breeding piece!
