Powerful, Big Bodied, Heavy Boned, Beefy, Feminine, and Attractive are a few of the words that we think best describe Ms. Bonchasse 687/2.  Yes, we agree that this female has much more than just a “pretty look”.  The sire to 687/2 is +Mr. V8 380/6 who sired more winners from 2011-2017 than any other sire in the breed which propelled him to the #1 spot in the ABBA Register of Renown.  To compliment the strong sire side of this pedigree is 687/2’s dam who was originally sold by J.D. Hudgins – Hudgins Division for $40,000 in the 2015 ABBA International Brahman Sale. JDH Miss Soto Manso 452/8 is a daughter of the legendary Vanguard Sire (+)JDH Sir Lawford Manso 616/6.  Many know the influence that Lawford has played in the breed siring over 500 registered progeny in ABBA and he can be found in the pedigrees of over 25 of the leading herd sires on the J.D. Hudgins Ranch.  The dam to 452/8 earned the coveted status of Maternal Merit Cow due to her superior fertility and performance, which should come as no surprise being sired by the Vanguard Sire and National & International Champion (+)JDH Mr. Woodman Manso.  Soto’s first natural calf is a herd bull for Magic Ranch, V8 Ranch kept a heifer from her, and KI Cattle Company currently has a son from her all validating her superior production.  As most know, we breed cattle that combine the essentials of Phenotype, Pedigree & Performance.  To meet the third objective that has not yet been highlighted is the performance profile of Ms. Bonchasse 687/2 that is moderate for Birth Weight, ranks in the top 15% of the breed for Weaning Weight, Yearling Weight, Milk, and Ribeye Area while charting positive for Marbling.
