We want to thank the Keith Bell Family for their generous donation to the American Junior Simbrah Roundup Scholarship Fund. Their many times champion Julio bull was back-to-back Grand Champion Simbrah Bull at the Louisiana State Fair and was Reserve Grand Champion at the 2020 American Junior Simbrah Roundup. He was also selected Supreme Champion Bull by world renowned judge PJ Budler in the 2020 Cattle Kings Virtual Show.
Julio’s consistent success in the ring is matched by an impressive set of carcass and performance oriented EPD’s. He is currently in the Top 10% for the breed in ten traits, including the Top 2% for TI and Weaning Weight. He is in the Top 4% API, Yearling, and Carcass Weight, as well as in the Top 5% for Ribeye Area. Finally, he sits in the Top 10% for Average Daily Gain, Maternal Weaning Weight, Marbling and Backfat. As you can see, Julio is not just eye appealing, he has the engine to go with it in terms of predictability.
His pedigree is unique, he is a full brother to Braxton Butler’s 2020 United Grand Champion Simbrah Female LMC BBS FAO Candace, who was a LMC GenePLUS high seller. Julio is a LMC Upgraded son out of the LMC BBS Jenna donor, making him a maternal brother to Cooper Mau’s reigning National Champion Female LMC BBS FAO Riley. He also represents LMC’s GOLDEN CROSS with LMC WFC Ms. Dream Girl on top and BBS Jennie Walker on the bottom.
