From the profile, Jolene is flawless – so feminine and extended through her head and neck, strong right behind her hump, level down her top and out through her hip and so balanced and smooth in the way she puts all her pieces together. Jolene is an elite combination of looking like a lady and having an extremely broody, maternally designed center body - being deep and soggy through her rib cage all the way back to her flank. Not to mention, she’s as sound as a cat when you set her in motion, on a set of feet and legs designed to last forever. As you may have already noticed, Jolene is a flushmate to Lot 1, and even though they’re very different in type and kind, they have one thing in common – they’re both just plain good. From a pedigree standpoint, Jolene is out of our lead donor, +Lady H Emma Manso 288/2, who is famous for both her showring success and production capability that has made her one of the most sought-after grey females in the world today. Jolene is sired by the rising star, +M2 BRC Captain 518/1, who’s first calf crop has taken the world by storm and seen champions come from several breeding programs, including the prior round of flushmates from this exact mating – which has already had a HLSR class winning female, a bull that recently brought home a couple banners for Seth Miller at the South Texas State Fair, and the high selling female from our fall sale that now resides in Florida. Although halter broke, Jolene can be difficult to manage at times so she is recommended for an advanced showman at this time.
