Hello my name is Haze Tomascik. I am in the 10th grade at Franklin High School where I am a member of Franklin FFA and Robertson County 4-H. This year I raised a Charolais Cross market steer his name is Ivan from the movie Rocky. He is a flush mate to my brother’s calf Stallion. I learned a lot about reproduction this year since I helped my grandfather with flushing and synchronization of his cow that my steer is out of. This will help me in my future career in the cattle industry. Daily I feed my animals before school and after practice whether that be athletic or FFA practice. I start early in the summer to break steers and teach them to show so that they are ready to show all year. At this time I plan to go to college to become an embryologist.
