LMC BBS Primo is a solid red BEEF MACHINE sired by Victor's favorite LMC Black Perfecto bull, who was out of the many times champion LMC Titan’s Muneca 5H/367 "Sophie" cow that won several big shows for Anne Baring including the San Antonio and Mercedes Open Shows, as well as the Mercedes Junior Show. Titan was a grandson of the famous PTL Jetliner cow who was one of the best Simmy cows ever made and a big-time herd bull producer. Titan daughters have some great udders, and most are solid red.
We sold Primo as a yearling after he won Calf Champion in Houston, as well as the Mercedes Open Show to our good friend Kevin Kent from Georgia who had much success with Primo. He recently offered him back to us and we bought him due to his production and the production of his famous champion dam BBS Jennie Walker. Jennie has done it all producing 52 top quality calves, including LMC BBS Layla who won the State Fair of Texas, TJLA Fall Classic, Fort Worth, San Antonio and Mercedes Junior Shows for MacKenzie Groce among several other titles. She is one of the all-time great red cows of the breed. She is sired by the immortal LMC EF JW Black bull whose semen sells for $1,500 per unit.
