LOT Proceeds to be split 50/50 between Texas Braunvieh Association and Champions of the World

The Texas Braunvieh Associaton (TBA) was established in 1996, making it over 25 years of existence to date.  The TBA is a non profit organization of volunteers dedicated to the promotion of the Braunvieh breed of cattle.  The TBA is open to anyone who is interested in such promotion of the Braunvieh breed.  Although their  primary avenue in promoting the Braunvieh breed is through their junior members by supporting them in shows and exhibits, they also strive to promote Braunvieh cattle on an International level as well.  Being a dual purpose breed that is very adaptable to all types of climates, Braunvieh cattle flourish in all types of climates.

From the cold temperatures of Canada to the extreme heats of Mexico and Africa, Braunvieh cattle continue to adapt and excel in all areas.  The TBA currently awards scholarships to junior members to help them further their education.  The TBA's membership is not only for Texas residents as they have an open membership to anyone who has interest in promoting Braunvieh.

With this open membership, it has allowed junior members from other states that may not have an association at the state level to join and take advantage of the benefits offered by the TBA.  This open membership has allowed the TBA to award scholarships to not only Texas residents, but also to its junior members from other states as well.  To date the TBA has awarded scholarships in at least four different states.
