LMC Chairman is A COWMAN’S KINDA BULL and is our new BUTTS, GUTS and NUTS Model. We were going to show him but chose to enroll him in the 20th Annual RGV Performance Bull Test as we felt the data gathered there is just as important for the future of our program and the Simbrah breed as a championship would have been. Chairman was the TOP INDEXING BULL of all breeds in the test with a 120.73%, winning his division. His ADG was 5.65 lbs. per day with a 140.55% index. His REA/CWT index was 92.91%. His WPDA index was 124.78. His marbling scores were 4.38% for a 119.24 index, his scrotal measurement was 43 CM for an 11.75% index. He has the deep red color pattern that has become very popular for foreign buyers and American cattleman that live in the hottest regions of our great country.
Chairman is sired by Victor’s favorite sire, LMC Black Perfecto who was sired by SAC Mr. MT and the popular LMC Titan’s Muneca 5H/367 “Sophie” cow that won many a show for Anne Baring. She was a LMC Titan daughter out of the most moderate of our Bravo sired ¼ Simmental x ¾ Brahman cows. Titan was from the famous PTL Jetliner cow family. She was one of the best beef cows that I have ever seen in person. Chairman’s dam is the LMC BBS Jenna cow who was a many times champion for Faith Onstot and is out of the $10,000 Scholarship winning San Antonio Jr. Show Grand Champion BBS Jennie Walker who has become our best red donor. We have registered over 50 calves with the Boenings off of her with all selling for a good premium many of which won and are working in some of today’s leading Simbrah herds. Jenna’s sire is 6G/LMC Rajin Cajun, one of our most productive ¾ Simmental x ¼ Brahman sires whose cattle are moderate, thick, long, wide, good-looking, super competitive and are top sellers every year. A maternal sister to Chairman by the name of LMC BBS FAO Diana topped a recent online sale selling to the Culpepper Family.
