Cole is the son of Rene and Crisiti Hinojosa. He is an eleventh grade at Lyford High School. He has been showing for eight years. Cole is blessed to have the opportunity to raise market goats. The experiences he has had raising project animals has taught him many life lessons. He feels it has taught him about responsibility in that there is no room to procrastinate. He understands that he is their life support and that the goats rely on him for their basic needs such as food and water. It has also taught him about showmanship and how ti be gracious in accepting a judge’s decision and taking the comments and making his project better. Finally, it had taught him to take initiative to do the things he wants to do. Cole is currently the FFA chapter President and the Tip O Tex District Treasurer. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. Cole plans to attend Texas A&M University in Kingsville, TX and major in range and wildlife management.
“It’s been a year to remember and I am truly grateful for my health, my family, and having the opportunity to show my market goal.” - Cole
