When we did this mating the logic was to produce a POLLED Red Female out of a proven daughter of +TJF Mr. Smokin Gun 109/7. The sire to this embryo package is LMC LN Polled Pappo 136/6 who we think is the top HOMOZYGOUS POLLED RED SIRE in the breed. We have been fond of Pappo since he won his first banner as a calf in San Antonio and watched his stellar show ring success. Not only did Pappo have a great show career but his offspring are on fire winning titles and topping sales. We were fortunate to be able to sell a $37,000 daughter of Polled Pappo during the Brahmans at the Camellia Sale in July which only re-enforced our belief in the sire. The dam to the resulting heifer calf is Moreno Ms. Lady Right On who was shown successfully by the Maheu Family in Florida before being donored by them and us. This daughter of +TJF Mr. Smokin Gun and out of the matriarch of Moreno Ranches +-GS Ms Mulhim Manso 314 has been an outstanding producer with her offspring averaging over $12,000 to breeders in the United States and Thailand. In the past year offspring from 224/1 have not only sold well but have topped Open Brahman Shows in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas! We have our first calves on the ground now from this mating and they are born small, grow rapidly, are very complete in their make up, and of course have polled heads.
