We bought Jolt on the recommendation of Mr. Braunvieh and great friend Roger McDowall. MIL GRACIAS Podge for all your sound advice as we built our Braunvieh program back in the early 2000’s. WTR Jolt (OB 31429) was the only bull to win all four major championships in the same year. We bought him as a six-year-old and used him for two years. He was super sound, thick, easy keeping and produced us a tremendous foundation herd of Simbravieh females, several champion show steers, and lots of good bulls.
Jolt has a classic Fullblood Braunvieh pedigree being sired by Vernon and out of an Admiral daughter. Vernon is the common denominator found in the pedigrees of the majority of Braunvieh champions over the past 20 years. We have a lot of respect for our Jolt daughters, and they are excellent easy keeping mama cows.
Due to the quantity of Braunvieh semen being sold, the price per unit will be very affordable so make sure to study these lots and make some good investments that you can make pay for themselves by selling smaller packages of semen.
