SRS Miss Lilly 469/8 is exceptional in so many ways.  As you were scrolling through the offering there is no doubt that her combination of eye appeal, structural stoutness, depth of body and femininity caught your eye.  Being that the majority of the offering is offspring by our proven herd sire +Mr. V8 458/7 “Noble” you knew that the top side of her pedigree was extremely appealing and provided an opportunity to purchase these superior genetics.  Hopefully you took time to view her performance profile that ranks in the top 1% for WW, YW and Docility and then 4% for scrotal circumference. Based on her pedigree these performance indicators look to be pretty accurate with her sire ranking #1 in the breed for YW and Disposition and #2 for WW.  Her dam also is very impressive being a donor for us and RB Ranch and calving first at 30 months of age. It should also be noted that her maternal granddam was also a proven donor and utilized by RB Ranch and J.D. Hudgins-Forgason Cattle Company with many proven progeny to her credit. We have been very strategic in our matings and after much studying have realized that the crossing of the Elmo line of cattle back on the proven cross of Madison and the International Champion +BNA Double Take has worked very well.  From a breeding standpoint we think this pedigree is assembled well to be crossed successfully back on either the (+)JDH Karu or (+)JDH Sir Liberty bloodlines. We considered keeping this female due to the combination of phenotype, performance and pedigree but in the spirit of “sharing our best” we are offering her to the public. Study this one closely!
