We LOVE this mating for so many reasons and are excited to share it!
Two years ago, after seeing some OUSTANDING offspring, we purchased an interest in the many time champion and proven donor CT Ms. Gabbie Rhineaux. One of these offspring was BCC Lady Elizabeth 10/21 who has been a many time show winner recently picking up an International Show Reserve Division and 2023 National Show Class win. In addition to her production, we LOVED the build and eye appeal of Gabbie but also her pedigree and performance profile. As might be expected based on her name Gabbie Rhineaux is a daughter of the two-time National & International Champion, ABBA Show Cow of the Year, and now #1 Register of Renown Cow +CT Lady Rhineaux Ray 8/9. The sire to Gabbie is +Mr. V8 380/6 who sired more winners than any other bull from 2011-2017 which helped propel him to the # 1 Register of Renown status. The students of the breed will recognize that this same genetic combination created CT Lady Lacey Rhineaux, +CT Lady 380, CT Ms. Nannie Mae Rhineaux, and +CT Adalida 10/6 who have all been winners and influential cows in the breed.
To enhance this package is the proven sire +TJF Mr. Smokin Gun 109/7 who has sired numerous winners in the USA and abroad most recently adding the 2023 International Champion Red Female and BOTH the 2022 International Champion and Reserve International Champion Females to his resume. As a result of the show ring success of Smokin Gun’s progeny he ranks as the #1 sire of the past 5 years for show points propelling his semen value to over $21,000/straw. In our opinion this is as good as it gets combining the most PROVEN genetics in the breed!!!!
