I have raised and shown cattle for many years, but this year has been like no other. Since the first day I started showing it has always been he the same basic routine through out the years buy a animal raise it accordingly to the show you were going to take them. This year started off similar to most years but changed very quickly for the occurrence of COVID-19. This occurrence is more than a sickness it has affected all aspects of everyone’s lives. For me this year I have learned to always have a back up plan in case things go south. Texas youth has seen it first hand how things can change in a blink of an eye, and how you must have a plan b in case this same situation occurs at another point in our lives whether it be foreign war, catastrophic weather conditions or disaster always have a way out to make things better for yourself and your family.
