Selling Full Interest and Full Possession
This is the only show heifer prospect from us in the offering and she is just SUPER. J7N Hershey’s Kiss is a black blazed quality show prospect that we are sure to turn some heads as she walks into the show ring. Feminine but yet stout enough to compete at any level. This wide bodied calf is deep sided, has a fantastic rib shape and is clean throughout her body through her neck and stands on good feet. I sure would like to keep this one but I promised myself to start reducing my herd. So the story is told and I’m paraphrasing, Bud Wentz once said that if you sale an animal and a tear sneaks out of the corner of your eye at the sale, then those are the ones you should sale. It’s got to hurt a bit and I mean to tell you, it will with this one.
Hershey’s Kiss is sired by a young and upcoming bull, J7N LMC Adelante, that we sold have interest to my good friend Carlos Guerra at La Muneca several years ago. Adelante is a product of the mating between the International Champion Simbrah bull, Hagan Ante Up and LMC BETM Walflower, a Go Getter daughter we bought at a Synergy Sale in 2009. Walflower has probably been the best money making cow/donor we have had next to LMC Knockout Muneca 5M/9 but we will talk about her a little later. Walflower’s first calf sold at MAS for $10,000 to Ronnie Smith. Her second calf sold to Hagan Cattle for $4000, and Muddy Water Ranch in Louisiana (my amigo Fudge Fruge) purchased a third heifer for $6500 and there is another Walflower heifer being sold in this offering (Lot 6; J7N Hope).
Hershey’s Kiss’ dam, J7N Sheza Jewel, is a ¾ Simbrah cow and a future donor for our program. Jewel is a daughter of our premier donor, LMC Knockout Muneca 5M/9. If you have been in the Simbrah business for a while, you know about M9 (LMC Oprah; LMC Miss Diva; LMC WFC Ms Dream Girl; J7N VicMar; J7N Whisky River; BCC J7N What A Delight and more). Sheza Jewel is sired by the EPD curve bender Simmental bull, CCR Cowboy Cut that is one of the favorite bull used by Simmental and sim-angus breeders today.
Bid, Bid Bid on this one. She is for real.
