BCC Lady Amelia is really good at everything. She’s good on paper, she’s got an outstanding phenotype, and maybe the most valuable… she’s going to be an absolute puppy dog on the halter and is almost ready to go out for pee-wee showmanship at only 5 months old. If you’re not in the market for a show heifer, don’t let your kid or wife come fall in love with this little gal, because you will be writing a check! Not only is she going to be a showmanship heifer, she’s also good enough to go out and compete at the highest level. Amelia is high performing, big topped and bold ribbed. When you step in behind her, you have to appreciate her width from hooks to pins, expressive stifle muscle and the way she maintains this width to the ground. Amelia stands square on all 4 corners and gets out and tracks with ease, with an outstanding set of feet and legs. From the profile, you can’t help but draw yourself to her balance, style and femininity. Pedigree wise, Amelia is an outcross to many of the popular sires available in todays market. She’s sired by the throwback sire, +JDH Sir Shank Manso 51/7, who is best known as the sire of the dominant Lady H Mae Manso 66/9 who was the 2011 National Champion Female and 2012 International Reserve Grand Champion Female, leading her to be named the 2011-2012 Gray Show Cow of the Year. In addition to this, +Shank has sired numerous donors and herd sires, with 4 daughters reaching the register of renown status. Amelia’s dam is our Miss V8 15/9 donor who is an outcross V8 pedigree, tracing back to JDH Hawk Manso 666/5 and Miss Pecan Acres 171, who is a donor at V8 ranch. 15/9’s first calf, who was a ¾ sibling to Amelia, was purchased by V8 ranch and is now in their breeding program. One of the most renowned Brahman breeders in the world saw the value in this genetic combination, it’s a no brainer to add these genetics to your operation too.
