BOR Focus is one of the best Braunvieh cows in the breed today. She is sired by one of the best carcass sires of the breed, Polled Vision. Her dam is the famous Phenomenon cow that has been cloned several times. She produced several top herd bulls during her career sired by several different sires plus the great Lifeline cow that Mystic Hill built their program around. This is one of the all time great cow families of the breed due to their productivity, performance and profitability.
Her first four calves averaged $9,875 for us. We are using her Red Bullet Simbravieh son, LMC LF Goliath in our Simbravieh program very successfully. He is a BEEF MACHINE and is one of the foundation sires of the breed. We sold a LMC ATZ Dr. Feel Good sired Simbravieh baby doll this year to the Santos Escobar family and they have been winning with her. She sells bred to the many times champion LMC Johnnie Walker for a Simbravieh calf. Look at his Simbravieh calves in the reference photos for Lot 12.
A Braunvieh daughter sired by Pappa Gene was Reserve Grand in Houston. We bought Focus as a yearling for $8,000 from our good friends at Broken Oak. La Muneca-Flores dispersed at Vieh Fest. La Muneca bought Focus there for $10,000 and later that day sold 1/2 for $10,000 to Kerry Abney, Jimmie Grant and Joe Mask. She has worked well in transplant and still has a lot of production ahead of her. She is the kind that a great herd can be built around just like Broken Oak has done with her dam and Mystic Hill has done with her maternal sister. She works great producing both Braunvieh and Simbravieh. Imagine the F-1 steers she can produce being bred to the right Brahman bull. She will be a bargain at any price. Do not miss her !!
