Lot 25 This young bull is both bred and built right. He is above average in all but one of the five ratios measured with ratios of 104, 110, 100, 98 and 106 for an overall index of 104%. LMC Polled Amigo 199/9 (P) is a DOUBLE POLLED, heavy muscled, dark pigmented, good looking herd bull prospect with a phenomenal pedigree.
“Stella” - the maternal grand dam is one of the prettiest and most feminine Brahman cows we have ever seen or owned. She was bred by Joe Ward and is a 3/4 sister to our great +Samantha cow. A very productive cow family !!
The sire, LMC FCC Polled Amigo 204/4 (P) is one of the biggest boned Polled Brahman bulls in the breed and has produced us lots of good cattle. He did some winning at some of the smaller shows as a yearling. He has produced several outstanding HOMOZYGOUS POLLED (PP) bulls and heifers. He is now owned by our good friend and Tocayo Carlos Hernandez a new breeder from Cameron County. We have several Top Quality daughters for sale now some of which are PP.
His sire, +LMC LF Ambassador is our GO TO sire and is who together with LMC WFF Pistolero created our LMC Golden Cross and put LMC on the map many years ago. Both of his grand dams are awesome cows as is his own dam. She is also the dam of LMC Polled Perfecto, one of our most popular junior herd sires owned with Chris Allen. The paternal grand dam was my Pick of Dr. Richard Forgason's cow herd when we did our Genetics Co-op Breeding.
She is also the dam to our "WOW COW" who we own with the Forgason's that measured a 6.96 IMF%, one of the largest ever at that time.
