Erwin 961/1 is a top Crosby son from a Forrest X Karu cow line. Erwin did a great job at the Rebel Star operation and left them with many good bulls and females to continue their program with. Erwin is a true curve bender sire coupling acceptable birth weight with extreme weaning and growth. Erwin ranks in the top 1 % of the breed for Marbling, top 2 % for REA and top 8% for Carcass weight. This solidifies his position as a sire that can produce smaller born calves that grow, yield muscle and will grade. Being in the top 12% of the breed for Milk shows the value in increased weaning weight of the calves reared by his daughters. Erwin 961/1 is now at work for the good folks at Choctaw Cattle Co. in Sunset LA. Choctaw has had their first set of Erwin calves and is blown away by the quality and consistency of the group.
