We recently weaned the heaviest and most powerful set of calves in years and were impressed with the quality and consistency throughout. Looking through this pen once again showed us why we created the Simbravieh breed, these cattle are thick, functional and just flat out good. Upon seeing this deep set of impressive females we decided to consign pick of 3 of our best fall born Simbravieh heifers to this sale.
We begin with the Alexa female who is one of the most complete Simbravieh females we have ever raised. This heifer has the biggest hip and rear end of any calf we have had this season. Couple this stoutness with her femininity and structural correctness and you have yourself a phenomenal show and donor prospect here in Alexa. She is sired by LMC LF Braveheart who is sired by the Triple Crown Winner LMC Johnnie Walker and out of the Braunvieh matriarch FG Bess. Alexa’s maternal grandsire is the WTR Jolt bull who won every major show from Denver to Louisville for our ole buddy Roger McDowall and Whitetail Ranch. Don’t miss this near perfect female with a loaded pedigree and tremendous future ahead of her. Alexa qualifies for our LMC Jr. Program which we feel is one of the most supportive in the country. Whether you plan to utilize Alexa in a crossbred/club calf operation or keep her Simbravieh, this female is destined to make an impact on the industry.
Andi is a smooth made, “Braunvieh black” female standing on a lot of bone and plenty sound. This female is an eye appealing heifer with good lines and out of a moderate and heavy milking black cow. Andi is one of the broodiest made females in the crop and should make a productive mama cow. Sired by the LMC LF Braveheart bull who goes back to the legendary LMC EF JW Black bull and who year in year out has produced consistently good cattle that perform in and out of the ring for KF Livestock, Louie Flores and LMC. Her paternal granddam FG Bess is the dam to the famous WTR Baylee cow who hit many of home runs for us as a donor. On the bottom side, Andi is out of a LMC LF Blacksmith (Triple bred Vernon) daughter that is one of our best looking and productive Simbravieh cows. Ava is a thick, long bodied and big butted female that again stands on a lot of bone like her paternal sisters in this lot do. She offers added eye appeal with some white mixed in her Braunvieh black color pattern. This heifer is impressive in terms of how feminine she remains for having as much muscle as she has. Ava has a nice navel that adds to her desirable design and extended front end. These Braveheart’s come about their good looks honestly as the bull himself is a black cherry, big boned and well balanced bull that has been a tremendous producer for us on a yearly basis. It is this consistent quality and performance that led Dean Fuchs to buying half of the bull. Ava’s dam is a gorgeous Polled Lightning cow; the Lightning bull did a lot of good for our good friend Larry Struthoff over at Broken Oak and the breed in his lifetime. Polled Lightning is the best black Braunvieh bull we have ever seen as you can see in his photo. If you’re looking to add thickness and look, Ava should be at or near the top of your list.
These heifers are eligible for the LMC Jr. Program which provides two units of semen per year until the junior buyer graduates to breed this heifer to, as well as provides numerous other opportunities including eligibility to added money shows such as the LMC Futurity, LMC $ellabration and LMC Jackpot. If a breeder buys one or all, the heifer(s) will come with the right to 2 free units of semen on any available LMC bull to breed the heifer(s) to.
Buyer has the option to triple up and buy all 3 heifers for the winning bid amount. LMC reserves one flush with a guarantee of 6 embryos and 2 pregnancies done at seller’s expense and buyer’s convenience, selling full interest and full possession otherwise.
