Lot 23 is a dark pigmented, square made, good-looking herd bull prospect sired by Polled Pathfinder whose popularity is growing daily throughout the Brahman world. This bull is a line-bred LMC Polled Madison being out of a son and a daughter. We like our Polled Madison’s because they are THE COWMAN’S KIND.
We bought his maternal grandma from our good Amigo Jody Youngblood for Nana’s birthday gift one year. She and her daughters have been good cows for her. We have had good success with our JLY cattle.
These fall of 2019 models will be tested over the weekend. If they do not pass, they are guaranteed to be fertile as they mature. We are dry and felt that selling these young bulls now that they are fat would provide our clients a great opportunity to buy some darn good bulls at a good price.
This bull has solid test numbers across the board. His Calving Ease EPD is in the top 3% of the breed with his marbling being in the 15%. He is a maternal brother to our popular, many times champion HOMOZYGOUS POLLED LMC LN Polled Pappo whose genetics are working all over the Brahman World.
