Miss V8 765/6 was a former show heifer for V8 Ranch before she was consigned to the International Brahman Sale in 2009 and fetched $38,000 selling to Pat Cone of Bennett Farms.   When Moreno Ranches was starting they purchased 765/6 and began to really find her worth.  She produced 18 M Check registered offspring with many of them showing and picking up Produce of Dam wins at two shows.  One of the unique utilizations of Miss V8 765/6 is her ability to be successfully mated to both red and grey Brahman bulls.  In September of 2018 Lanny Cowey of MMR Brahmans purchased Miss V8 765/6 for $18,000 as an 11 year old cow. 765/6 is an own daughter of the iconic +Mr. V8 287/5 “Superstroke” who dominated the ABBA Show Ring for 10 years and produced an undefeated International Champion Get of Sire for 5 straight years. If you look through some of the most notable cattle in the breed you will see the influence that Superstroke has played especially on the female side.  The dam to 765/6 is +Miss V8 997/5 a daughter of the International Champion and iconic +Mr. V8 901/4 and out of the same dam as the International Champion, +Mr. V8 846/5 “The Rock”.  997/5 not only has an impressive pedigree but proven production with 88 offspring registered in ABBA!  As if her pedigree and production weren’t enough to prove her value 765/6 charts positive for 6 economically relevant traits.  They don’t come any more proven!  MMR Brahmans is offering 1 aspiration and guaranteeing 6 embryos.  The work is to be done at Trans Ova Genetics after May 15.  If the six (6) guaranteed embryos are not achieved the purchase price will be prorated to compensate for the embryos not produced.
