RGV DRC Paying the Bills is the most complete and powerful bulls RGV Cattle Company has ever raised. He is a son of the impeccable LLSF Pays to Believe and out of the great RGV LMC Dr. Beauty donor. He has tremendous bone, natural muscling, depth, and extension. His structure is flawless, and he travels with ease. His first calves are here, and they are exciting. We are super excited about the future of these Paying the Bills cattle. He was collected at Elgin Breeding Service and semen analysis has been great.

My Dad, Humberto Vela, was my right-hand man on the ranch. He retired after working for 34 years in the sugar industry here in the Rio Grande Valley. After his retirement he helped me tremendously with the ranch and my breeding program. I miss my father so much but the fond memories I have of him will be with me forever. One of those memories was the day Dr. Beauty was born in the pasture behind his home. I was out hunting for mule deer in West Texas out on the Southwest Mesa. I was on the top of the mesa at the time, so I just so happened to have cell service. My phone rang and it was Dad. He said Crimson Beauty had just had a heifer calf and that, “this one was a little bit different; she’s going to be special.”  Little did we know that, that female would grow up to be Dr. Beauty and be a great donor for us, La Muneca, Cameron Chappell, and now Marshall Curl as well. Dad was right! She was different. She was a champion and Paying the Bills is a direct son of hers!

Paying the Bills is currently in the Top 10% for TI and API and I am confident he will be a great one. We showed him one time and he was Supreme Champion at the STAR show. We want to thank all our early semen buyers for your trust in Paying the Bills. Just this week we got an exciting report from Seale Show Cattle and Victor Guerra about the quality of their new Paying the Bills calves. Likewise, Tanna Primrose just led a daughter to Reserve Supreme Champion Heifer honors at a prospect show.

 I would like to thank the Guerra Family for allowing me to sell this semen on this young bull. They have always been supportive of our family and community.
